I just purchased a set of Sprint Springs and am wondering if i need a set of camber plates. Does anybody have these and did you have to do anything with the camber or just do a four wheel alignment? please let me know. thank you

I have a 2003 Protege

no you won't. i have sprint springs and was able to get my car aligned back to factory specs. you will love them:D

will it make a difference that you have a P5 and i just have a standard?

Nope. No difference.

the sprints are a 2" drop which seems like a lot without a camber plate. i asked a couple wheel companies and they said i couldn't do anything more then a 1.5" drop without a camber plate.

Does anybody have any pics of sprints installed. i tried searching but didn't come up with anything. any help would be great.

PM slamdp5. I've seen pics of his car w/ the 18's and sprint's. He should be able to help you out.

sorry guys been working a bunch lately. i will try to get some pics on here in the next couple of days with the sprints on. as far as the 2"drop being too much to do a alignment, that is just incorrect. i had a complete alignment with a 4" skunk2 drop, just rode like crap. as far as what wheel companies say, dont listen to them for s***. discount tire told me i could run a +42 offset 18" without any rubbing at all. that was FALSE as could be. i am running 18X7.5 with 215/35s and my fenders are about a finger gap above the tires. i originally had spool springs, but the back never did settle so I went with sprints. they have been around for many years, and i figured they knew what they were doing. far superior to the spools, much firmer ride and more stable on the curves. i will get pics up a.s.a.p. any more questions just throw them my way:D
