Spring Break '05

Hello all you Florida people! It's frick'n cold up here in Ohio! That's why my roommates and I are coming to Florida for spring break '05, specifically the Tampa/Clearwater/St. Petersburg region. We're still working out the details of where we're staying for that week (March 19 -26).

We're considering taking two vehicles, one of which is my P5. So I'm just curious if any Mazda ppl would wanna meet up down there, possibly help us find some cool bars or clubs, talk cars, or cruise around?! I'm always up for meeting more Mazda junkies... (burnout)

Funny you should mention Panama 'cause that is our second choice! I went there in 2003 and had a blast!

Me and my friend are thinking of going down to sebring right now... if his sr20det 240 is running yet, and I have all my suspension in by then. If not, maybe a last minute snowboarding trip to colorado. Option three is panama. If that fails, and I end up staying at home and doing the usual daytona beach or w/e, then ya I would love to meet up I'm hoping at least one of my first three plans works though... daytona is fair at best now a days.

Sebring international raceway... we would be going there to run our cars. idk if it would be possible since the 12hrs of Le Mans racing is on 16-18, and our spring break is the 19th-27th.

Miami sounds fun but we're already booked for Clearwater.

Daytona was actually our third choice. We were gonna stay with our buddy that owns a sponsored Evo8. He is being sent there for sponsorship purposes...and his hotel and expensenses are paid for...lucky duck. But we decided to stick to the Gulf side of Florida instead.

Well it doesn't look like I'll be meeting up with many ppl lol Maybe I'll just happen to run into some Mazda owners while I'm down there.

Awesome! We're leaving Ohio Friday night (March 18), and hopefully arriving to our destination on Saturday, March 19. I would be willing to meet up that night if possible. If this sounds like a good idea, then all I'll need is an address of some sort to wherever you're meeting so I can get directions.

really late to post but check out the local affiliate section of clubprotege.com for the weekly friday meets with intense performance. I have not been there in probably a year b/c i work every friday night, but check it out guys, you will have fun...
