I believe same as his turbo setup. He confirmed that I can use my K&N cleaner kit with it so I assume it is similar if not a K&N.

i think 199 shipped is a great deal, it seems like it is very similar to injen in design but more custom for our particular engines. Plus u gotta love the look of that steel =)
I will be upgrading to one of these when i have the money, it just may be a little while for me.....
its so hard when u are still at the starting stages of mods, i still want to do my cams and headwork, as well as a flywheel or pulley, as well as this CAI, as well as a possible custom catback.....argh, i need about 2 grand for my N/A mods in total and another 2.5 for the turbo I wanna do in a yr.

btw, very nice design spool, I think it stands out way more than almost all other intakes and design seems to be great for power potential.
any dyno numbers(N/A or FI) with it yet? I would tend to think it would help a decent amount on an engine with boost.

Are we only dealing with PM's on this or will someone come through with possible pics, even of the materials would be fine. I'm up for the CAI but there are certain thing I think most of us would like to see (eg. Bypass Valve and Shield). Is that a possibility or do we need to keep this all on the PM.

I am in the market for an air intake now and am close to ordering something (possibly AEM from Adventon).
I'd be up for trying this Spool CAI. I'd love to see pics. It sounds like some poster's here have more info than is in the thread. Since we are all interested, don't keep it to PMs?
As a selfish aside, I'd also like to know if you'd ship to Canada via US Postal Service (not UPS). UPS is a sure fire $65 charge for customs and brokerage, whereas US Postal Service often avoids this.

there was a pic of the CAI they made for their turbo'd cars, he said it will look very similar but be formed for N/A CAi design.

different for a N/A set would basically just mean the piping is bent in different directions to accomodate coming from the back of the engine bay to the CAI hole like Injen uses as opposed to coming from the front of the engine bay in a turbo setup, so litteraly it will look exactly the same as the pictures posted except will have a different shape/bend.
