spicey orange attention

do any of you think that the spicey orange will attract to much attention in a college parking lot? I have the opportunity to buy one but i don't know if it will attract those people that like to steal or key new cars. what do you think?

Personally, I would not want to risk it. I had a dark blue Probe SE get keyed all down one side at the Mall. I can only imagine a college parking lot.

I guess part of it depends on what college.

OH ok, well first off welcome to the club. Now I see that you are in So Cal, we have weekly meets, every Sunday. I hope you can make it out to one, and maybe see our cars in person.

Anyway about the orange.. Of corse it is going to draw more attention... It is orange. I live in Thousand Oaks, and work in Hollywood, and where i work is manned by a guard. So its always pretty safe for me.

I love the orange, and it is my personal favorite out of the othes made, and I think regardless of the color of your car.. someone would break into it if you were in a bad enough area. I dont know Torrance all that wel.. but if its that unsafe of a area, weather your car was black or orange it would be broken into.

I try not to think about such things...

03speed..do you go to CCU? My sister goes there and both of my sisters live in myrtle beach. I am going down there for the 25th. I am planning on going to college there too. I have a black MSP. There are tons of hooke dup cars in SC.

im going to tennessee, where hopefully the orange color will be welcomed. i just got custom vinyl decals for my rear window. i wanted the orange in the T's to match the spicy orange paint. i will try to post pics soon, buit i leave for school in like 19 hours

hey, the orange doea draw more attention, but i don't think in a bad way.. i'd say 90% of my compliments are b/c of the badass paintjob that everyone thinks i had custom done.. lol i have a friend with the black, and she can park right next to me n a crowd and no-one says anything about hers, and if so it's like nice car. as for vandelism *spelling* it's all on where u are and where ur parked.. i was at the mall and someone wrote ricer on my drivers door with black permanent marker in BIG letters i might add. i don't know anyone here and don't have any enemies.. it's all about bad luck.. but i'd say, definately get the orange. by far the nicest looking MSP out there IMO.. (however the tit and the laser are at a close 2nd)

I actually had the same concerns you did when I was decided on the Orange MSP.

I knew when I bought it, that 1) heads would turn and 2) people would rev on me constantly.

I guess, that's part of the reason I bought it. But basically, I wanted something different and unfortunately, there are those ***** of the world that hate things that are different.

It's the chance you take. But I personally, don't worry about getting my car keyed. That I can fix (it'll suck ass, but I can fix it).

I worry more about getting my car stolen. That's why I opted for LoJack. Makes me feel safer, I guess.

But if you want my advice, go for it! I personally think the Spicey Orange is the best color choice.
