Went to the dragstrip to test out my Toyo RA1 to see if they can work as slick :)

Only thing i have is the Protegegarage SRI

I have done some 13.9 and 13.8 during my learning of the car with the slick and i think i finally found the best launch rpm and shift rpm (braindead

The slick

its funny how your two lowest reaction times yielded the two slowest 1/4's...how bad was the wheel hop? Definatly got some decent runs there with just 2 simple changes

Reaction time has nothing to do with ET. Do you mean 60' time?

Long 60 foot times will kill ET, definitely.

I put down 2.0 to 2.1 60' consistently on my stock tires in this car. An epoxy-filled stock RMM is on there and an ETD goes on at the track to make sure I don't rip the engine out. I drop the pressure to 25 pounds and bleed the clutch in from a 2500-3000 rpm launch. works every time. This car is easier to figure out of the hole than my old 5.0 was.

For a lightly modified car, the OP's end results are pretty strong here, that's for sure. Impressive.

your kidding right? the faster you leave the line, the faster u get to the trap overall. it's not as significant as 60' times but it still adds to time.

ahhh the strip we had here (old) linked the tree to the line......wait 4 seconds after green and your et was 4 seconds more

Damn man that is great. A 2.0 60ft on this car is awesome. I'm going to the strip next Saturday with new tires and a FMIC with a new AP map. I have run 13.8 but hope to go 13.5 now. Traction is a big problem with this car and slicks with my set up might break into the 12's but the way slicks grap, you risk breaking an axle. What you have is maybe the best of both worlds, sticky but not so that it endangers the drive trian. Props to you man, very impressed.

I'm gonna do more agressive launch when i get the rear motor mount and the engine torque damper, but now i'm trying to save my stock motor mount lol.

If i can get my 60' into 1.9s i'm gonna be good for 13.2

Great times man, one of these days Im going to get down to the strip and run my car. Im hoping for somwhere in the neighborhood of 13.5 if I can get a good launch and conditions work out.

BTW, what blew up next to you on your 13.4 run? Good 60' and 330' times but then it slows....
