hey i was wondering if anyone has installed any aftermarket clutches and how are they. i have the stock one and only got 10k on it and its slipping already i hate that. but couple of ppl have told me that clutches wear out faster on all wheel cars. this is my first so idk. can anyone help me out it will be greatly appreciated.

Exactly what kind of driving do you do? Under normal driving conditions the clutch should last upwards of 60-100K. At least every clutch I've had has lasted that long. My friend has a 93 corolla with 200+K on the stock clutch. So if you are wearing out a clutch in 10K you need to seriously re-think your driving style.

What he said... Don't do a drag launch at every stop light, that helps alot. Is your clutch slipping while it is fully engaged?

This clutch should last atleast 60-70k with light mods and heavy foot. If you are doing drag launches don't expect your clutch to last long.

Mazda offers an aftermarket clutch in their Mazdaspeed performance parts catalogs, with a warranty too.

That clutch is an upgrade for the regular 6 and will not work with the Mazdaspeed6. Furthermore, I don't think Mazda warranties even their own Mazdaspeed parts.

spec clutches are notorious for making an upgrade for a standard mazda car and then saying it will work with the speed version. I ran into this with several customers on the msp... and the sad part is the Spec "upgrade" was actually worse than the standard speed clutch... I'm suprised MSP267 hasn't chimed in yet he spent 3 days adapting the damn thing to fit the msp only to have it fail 2wks later.
