Spec flywheel and clutch

Is anyone running a spec flywheel and a spec clutch on their car? I just orderd mine and it says its for the protege not the msp. is there a differnce?

i think it depends what protege...

i think there's 2 different engines... 1.6L and 2.0L

There is a difference but both will work. MSP specific clutch is engineered for boost, thus the higher price. May never be an issue for you. Follow the break in procedure to the "T".

I am running the spec stage 2 clutch from the msp section on PG. I LOVE IT. I have a much better feel over stock and grabs alot better. IMO u should get the flywheel and clutch at the same time. Because I only bought the clutch (being cheap) and it turned out my old flywheel was too effed up to be re spun (previous owner i swear lol). Just my 0.02

well i just orderd a spec 6.8 lb flywheel and a spec stage 3 clutch so im good to go thanks guys.
