Speaker to RCA converter

Hey,

I've seen a few threads of people using a converter to put a sub and amp in the stock non Bose system. Where did you guys put the converter? And where did you splice the wires?

I attached the connector right by the factory bose amp.... that way the only wire run down the door sill was the rca cable and remote.
