Speaker size for MS3

i looked in the thread that stated the speaker sizes. but i was still confused on what i read.

i need to know can i replace all four speakers in my MS3 spoort with 6.5 infinity Kappas. is there a certain type of tweater needed to replace the factory tweaters as well.

You'll need 5x7/6x8 adapters to use 6.5" but yes. My Kappa tweeters fit into the sail panel just fine, just a little e-tape around them and they stay in by friction alone.

how are the kenwood double din dvd/navs compared to the pionere avic z2. i see the nav isnt built in like it is in the pioneer unit but other than that. how do you like kenwood compared to the pioneer units

I didn't compare, I wanted the Kenwood because it has Garmin. The DNX-5120/7120 have nav built in, not an add-on module. The only difference from a nav standpoint is the 7120 has text-to-speech and the 5120 doesn't, as far as I know.

Unfortunately my 5120 is off getting repaired, the 2009 Map update puked and got stuck in a Nav update loop... couldn't get the DVD to eject, so the damned thing was basically bricked. But, I really like it... I have a DDX-512 "on loan" from BeastBuy.

6-3/4 Speakers require a bit of modification to the stock opening to get them to fit.. but they do fit.

5-1/4 are direct drop ins.
