I had pandora running and I was on the this forum with my phone (same phone that was streaming pandora) and I click on a youtube video here in the forum and the audio from the youtube overided the current song came through the speakers. Thought that was odd so I went to youtube and click on a music video and on damn....it played through the speakers. I tried netflix but it did work. Eventhough it would use more data/bandwidth using youtube...but if you wanted to hear a specific song at least you can do it.

It's just bluetooth audio. You can do it with all your mp3's or any other audio source. Works on 2013 model without pandora also.

Very cool and I didn't know that...

I actually use this everyday on my BlackBerry to listen to my music and my downloaded podcasts. Its called Bluetooth A2DP for streaming the audio and AVRCP for using your steering wheel control and head unit controls to control your device like next previous and pause etc...

here is a link to it on Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluetooth_profile#Advanced_Audio_Distribution_Profile_.28A2DP.29 it is an interesting read.

I have a phone mount on my windshield, and will stream Youtube videos in my car and watch them. There is a couple second delay with the music and the singers lips, but that is ok.

Glad I am not the only one with the 2 seconds delay of play back. What device do you have? I am trying to get Mazda to try and look at this issue. I am in communications with them on Facebook currently.
