Wow, i ******* hate it. I just dont understand why people paint interiors or turbo an auto. The installs are really clean though!

I think that may be one of the best looking Protege pics I have ever seen. As always, awesome car. Anything in store for the car until show time?

See you at the shows in 2006!!

What's wrong with turboing an auto. We have another turbocharged auto P5 in Vancouver, and my sedan will be later. There is no problem with it at all. I think painting interior pieces looks great too. It adds some color to our dark interiors. I am also planning on painting interior pieces. The contrast is great with the yellow/black. I entirely disagree with your post.

Painted interiors looks really tacky. In my opinion, it always comes out looking bad. Also turboing an auto FWD car is usually a disaster. Do you use the stock torque converter?

It's certainly a nice show car and that turbo install is super clean! (thumb)

No one is ever going to see that thing that is under the back bumper. Even if it was sitting at a show no one would stand tehre and watch that screen.

You couldn't be more wrong. bigwoofer and I tour the car shows together, and the amount of people that huddle around the screen under the rear bumper is amazing.

It's funny in the states, play AC/DC, all the white people come around, stop AC/DC and start 50 Cent, white people disperse and black people come around, stop 50 Cent and play AC/DC again, black people disperse and white people come back, so on and so forth.

I'm not racist or anything it's just amusing so we do it all day. You have to stay entertained somehow when you're sitting at a car show for 16 hours.

Maybe they look tacky if you do a crappy job. Spend some time on it and it looks like production pieces. If you do it right, it looks good. Yes it's easy to make interior pieces look tacky by picking the wrong color, or doing it when you don't know what you're doing. But it's also easy to make it look good.

Details on that 3-point strut tower bar please; where'd you buy and/or have it fabricated? It doesn't look like a CP unit...

good stuff overall; very clean (I'm on board with the autotragic opinions here too, but it's a minor issue overall).

is that not a CP decal on the strut bar?
