Nice swap. Madisonville, right? I'll be visiting family in Knoxville for Thanksgiving, hoping to hit up The Dragon if I have time.

Tea, where did you stay? We usually just stay at Fontana Village or in Robinsville. I love the N.C. side of the dragon as well. Man how I want a set of MS6 wheels for my silver speed3. Get those bad boys powdercoated black!

Is that purple car a speed 6 with speed3 rims?? I didnt think the Ms6' came in that color??

The wheels are getting powdercoated a metallic gunmetal.(yes)

I stayed at Caney Creek Village in Tellico Plains, TN. There is a real good reason to stay there...it is right at the start of the Cherohala Skyway.(naughty)

I thought that looked familiar. Right at the bottom by the new gas station? I love the cherohala real early in the morning, then you can do the loop to the dragon. Did you run at night? We have found that when we take the cars running at night is WAY better. Bikes we only ride during the day but with the cars...

I've learned over the years to never accelerate as you approach the Tabcat Bridge. Consider your run over 100 yards before you round that last bend & come on down nice & slow, park, pop the hood, and watch n00bs get pulled over while the engine cools.

Bunch of MINIs are headed up there next weekend, and I wish I was going with them. I go once a year, and it's not nearly enough.

Thanks for the pics!!!

are those bumper protectors gray?? I thought they would make it black to match the rest of the plastic, it looks kind of odd. Than again I am a nitpicker.

Maybe his are faded or an older version. My bumper guards are flat black and match the other black plastic.

Straight up. My tires were shot, so were his. I've know this person for about 5 years.
Worked out good because he hated the wheels!
