So there's no way... (re: Hotchkis)

... to order the sway bars separately from a vendor? I'm considering just buying the FSB/RSB set and selling the FSB separately at this point.

Yes, I know about getting the COBB bars separately, but I am more interested in the Hotchkis rear sway bar and wanted to see if any of these vendors can do anything to split a set.

i dunno if they will split a set specifically for you unless they had a buyer lined up for just the front. Vendors? What do you guys think?

...unless they were attempting a stock-class autocross setup.

Not sure if anyone has tried the big FSB setup on the MS3.

Ok tell me this again but I thought that the front bar would stiffen up the front end thereby reducing understeer. What am I missing here?

No no no. If you stiffen up the front end, you're going to increase understeer. Since this car understeers a bit as it is, you want to stiffen up the rear end so that you can decrease understeer. I think the Hotchkis rear sway may be too stiff when used by itself with the OE front bar, but that's just a hunch. If running the Cobb bar at the less stiff setting is "just right", the Hotchkis bar is stiffer than the Cobb. It's 95% or 140% stiffer than stock with Hotchkis whereas Cobb is advertised at 35%, although it is adjustable, so I'm not quite sure why they just list one number on Cobb's site.

im pretty sure the cobb and hotchkis bars are the same. hotchkis actually made the cobb bars for them, and then after released there own. im prety sure they are exactly the same. there is a thread about this somewhere
