and it sounds like it is not getting enough air. When I am looking at my AFR on my COBB it is at 8.8 on idle and rises to 11-15.. I have tried different maps and the maps do not seem to be the problem. I have checked the connection on the FMIC and intake and have yet to find any problems.. But I will be re checking them tomorrow. Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem is and where I may have messed up on installation?

okay.. Also when I try to drive it will bog out and die down but continue to run....I cannot go faster than 10-15 mph.. Could I have made any mistakes on the installations like unplugging something on accident or bad connections?

yea if it was running fine before, and then after the FMIC it's running like crap then most likely something got unplugged, either as part of the install that you forgot to put back on, or something that accidentally came off.

check your MAF connection, although for it not to let you go faster than 10-15mph is something pretty severe.

You'll most likely have to go through the install again to double check everything. check all coupler connections.

you did make sure to take all the seals off the parts...I'm sure lol. I know that sounds ridiculous, but I've seen some pretty obvious things missed...

It's your intercooler! Check the left side when facing the car it must be the connection of the first piping connection. That portion does not have a beed and it tends to come apart......

^ He was correct!! I fixed the problem! My car runs again! Thanks for the input guys!

Did you hear it come off at all? Mine came off one time and the car definitely went into safe mode. It was obvious what my problem was becasue of the big bang then the sound of rushhing air.

If I didn't know it was a possability that the pipes would come apart from the get go, I would have thought the same thing.

It is pretty common for the piping on a fmic kit to come apart from time to time. Some people like me even carry the propper tools just incase, lol. If it ever happens and u don't have tools, atleast just pop the pipes back into place, and stay out of boost until u get home

The problem with your suggestion is that with these kits the pipes come apart right infront of the passenger wheel. The only way to get under there is to jack up the car and remove the bottom cover.

Yea I know but the top one is known to come apart sometimes too and that is atleast an easy fix

You mean off of the turbo? I guess that happens a lot too. I haven't though.
