There is an easy (and fun!) way to find out of you have an exhaust leak.

Take a potato, that's just the right size, and shove it into the end of the tailpipe so that it completely blocks it.
Now see if you can crank the car. If you have a leak/hole of any size, it will crank. If not... well that's b/c the potato is occluding the only escape for air available.

Note - be sure to do thsi w/ the car backed up facing a wall, preferably brick! If it can build pressure, it will shoot that tator out like a cannon. quite humorous actually!

The only way you would get a " light on the dash" AKA CEL is if the hole was pre 02 sensor. Chances are they did not push the rear jack on the alignment rack far enough forward ans when they back your car off the rack it caught/punctured your exhaust.
