got my msp re-flashed @ Irvine Mazda w/o a hitch. took all of 1 hour or so. car is definitely/noticeably different as it spools up at 3500 RPM. Smoother w/o hesitation or stumbles.....

i hate irvine. they suck.

Ted was there, but I worked directly with Ron (master tech) and Margaret (service advisor). Ron's cool! Steph, did our msp's warranty get upped to 48 months/50K? i saw a sticker on 03 msp's with that. Does that include ours too? i'm too lazy to call Cust Serv.

Hey, I got my car from Irvine!! Well, I got my car off of the fleet guys next door so I didn't have to hassle with dealers. The Fleet crew over there are really cool and I'm pretty sure they could hook stuff up for ya.

My turbo needed to be replaced under warranty so I told the dealership that I did not want the reflash. So when they called the Mazda tech line they instructed the dealership to do the reflash anyways despite what I said. So the dealership reflashed the car as per instruction by Mazda NA. So now I have to call them and find out why they basically ORDERED the dealership to do it.

just go to tustin mazda. it's so much funner there. they have a really cool lounge area and they give you FREE mountain dew. there is also a tv where you can watch blues clues or whatever. oh, and they had a popcorn stand thingy where u can get your own popcorn in those paper bags. i'm definitely going back there for my services. their service is the best i've seen out of all the dealerships i've been to.

I did have my oil changed @ Tustin + asked about the ECU flash w/o an answer. This of course was last month. The tech looked about 14 y/o. Go figure.

I talked to Alan Smith, he said Steve (sixmil) came by earlier for the flash.
