No problems with the stock lug nuts on the Sport F10's? I may be having an errant memory but I seem to recall I had to use the ones that came with the wheels. Maybe my lug wrench wasn't cooperative. I used the car's POS.

I have a set of Sport F10's and I had to use the lugs and lug wrench adapter that TireRack sent. The hole where the lug is is to small for the stock lug wrench.

i used the lugs that tire-rack sent except for the oem lock. i just used a socket and breaker bar to put them on with

I like the red calibers, i was thinking of doing it to mine when spring comes along. How long did it take you to paint them?

9 hrs!

the duplicolor caliper paint from advance auto sux ass to put on.
i tried spraying the first caliper with a super light coat of self etching primer and then brush on the caliper paint. when you try to apply the next coat of caliper paint, it eats into the coat before it. (monkey) i ended up "dabbing" a very thick final coat of paint to make it look good.

i only sprayed one caliper with the self etching primer because it didn't seem to help the process at all.

you need to buy half a dozen or so brushes. that paint dries fast and is impossible to get off the brush. i found a nice variety pack of brushes @ walmart for $5.

i would probably recommend going with a different brand of paint, maybe G2. or try your luck with the duplicolor spray version of caliper paint. i've never had much luck trying to paint calipers with the spray stuff. always bubbles, wrinkles, or doesn't stick, in atleast one spot or two.

then... there's powder coating. yea, that would look better and be a hell of a lot easier on the back.

Woah sounds like you made a day of it! But hey they didn't turn out to bad. Nice work!

yea. they look twice as good in person. i should have taken a close-up pic with the wheel off. the fronts are red with the center and sides painted black. the rears are also red with the outsides and wires painted black.
