Gotzoom....question... I installed the MS LSD without the MS axles... so wouldn't that mean someone could install the MS Axels with the MS LSD?

The tranny end is the same, I believe that its the wheel end that is different. The same reason I couldn't use the Probe axles, too many splines on the wheel end.

We have not got accurate readings for the horsepower yet. The Microtech should be in by the end of next week, after thats in it will go back on the dyno, this time at a more reputable shop that has used dyno's for a while.

my brother is going to talk to one of his buddies (rob) for me. rob had some axles made for the zx2 that are 10lbs lighter, and have had a over a year of driving, and weekend drag strip runs with no problems. the also had some made for a 325whp escort and they have had no problems. if he will make some im going to send him my axles when i get my spare car.

That is one of the first broken axles i've ever seen in a 3rd gen Protege. Usually at the track there are lots of VWs (especially VR6's) snapping axles.

These are a good investment. They will save you a lot of money in the long run. If you are in the run to produce more, and more HP. You WILL need these.

They don't make them for the Proteges but, You can have custom ones made.
