I see his points about second hand smoke. Hell, I smoke and a smokey bar/restaurant gets on my nerves. Outdoors though? Nah, not even as a kid growing up in the '70s do I remember smoke annoying me outside?

Pretty much everyone is a drug user if you wanna use the phrase like that. Caffeine, Tylenol, Aspirin, etc. OMG Drugs!!1

I go out of my way to diss smokers in public, especially if my kids are there. I'll loudly say, "Wait honey, lets go over there away from the drug user so you don't get cancer."

I don't smoke anymore, but I still think that's going overboard. You're not getting ******* cancer from some schmoe that's smoking a cigarrete 15ft from you. That's complete bulls***.

Of course there is! I HOPE it makes them feel bad, that's the whole point. I know it's manufactured to be adicting, but if they're too weak of character to quit, they deserve the cancer. Fortuneatly for them it takes a long time so they could quit if they really wanted. The trouble is, it makes our health insurance higher because of them. Not to mention the second hand smoke WILL affect others. THINK! If my kid eats candy, it doesn't kill anyone else around them. And if I spit out a piece of candy, it doesn't cause a $2 billion forest fire that covers half a state. Smoke all you want at home or someplace you only pollute your own air, but if you're out in public it becomes my business and I hope cancer finds them quick. I don't believe in the pussy politically correct crap. If it's bad, it's bad, and I'm not going to smile but have nasty thoughts like most people.. Societies problems don't get solved by hiding them and pretending they aren't there.

You know what else is hasardous to your health, talking s*** to people you really don't know. Im not trying to be a hard ass or anything, but man if you walked by and said something like that and i or my brother was standing there youd probably end up getting knocked the **** out in front of your wife and kids. I don't play around and especially with some punk ass who don't know me gonna walk by and talk some s***. Teach your kids by all means that smoking is bad it will kill but again don't disrespect people you don't know casue that can be bad for your health as well. and on another note try to ignore getting ****** up it ain't gonna work.

Since when did throwing cigarette butts out the window become acceptable practice? Littering isn't cool. I noticed how bad it was in boston where there were piles of cigaratte butts at each stop light. Simply disgusting.

I'm just curious, why is it that people smoke anyway. What is it that you get out of it, does it feel good inhaling hot smoke? Does it actually taste good because it stinks like all hell? Just curious because I'm not a smoker so I don't know. Yes, I hate brining my wife and our kids into Casinos here in Vegas to just take them to a buffet or something and have to walk them through all of that smoke. If I just want to go to a bar and shoot some pool with friends I leave there stinking like smoke. Anyway, each person can do whatever they want, if you want to smoke, smoke. I know if I smoked I wouldn't want anyone telling me how where when what or anything. Wonderful thing living in America.

That's what I hated about being in Reno. Only time I've been to Nevada and it seemed that most the restaurants were located in a casino. I hated that smell as I'm being led to my table. It's just gross. And the whole throwing butts out the window bothers me too. If you're going to smoke in your car by all means do so but certainly find an appropriate place to put the butts when you're through. I also can't stand people who throw trash in general out their car. I mean how ******* hard is it to just place it in a trash can later on when you come home or to a store? Practically everyplace you go has a trash can outside the entryway. I'm actually glad there are some places that don't allow smoking at all. Like I want to inhale that crap as I'm taking a bite of lunch or dinner. Smokers do have the right to smoke but on a nice day I want to breathe FRESH air. Well any day for that matter but in the spring time especially with everything blooming.

I hate that also. I was sitting at a light as these ***** in front of me (woman and men) open their window and throw trash out the window. I've seen water bottles, Big Ass McDonalds coke cups, and wrappers of all sorts. What the hell is this world coming to. The cigarette butts are insane, go for a walk anywhere here in vegas and look in the gutter and you'll find them everywhere. What a wonderful addictive habbit that is and how easy to get rid of them. People throw the butts and when their done with all the cigarettes they thow the empty pack in the street as well. Pure marketing genius.......

I actually had the same thing happen, Some guy in his beat up chevy van basically dups out a fast food bag on a bridge going 60 mph. I was flipping over how disrespectful it was so I rolled up next to him & flicked him off & yelled at him that he was a dirty son of a b****

I don't smoke in my car for plenty of reasons, one of them being that my ashtray is a change dish for parking meters. so i just don't smoke in my car. Generalizations are what help fuel assholes to go on being assholes. so don't generalize.

I thank people for smoking in front of the "No Smoking" sign outside the mall entrance every time I go there. I also thank them when they throw their butt on the ground next to the hundred other butts that are just laying there. Oh how I enjoy walking through a cloud of smoke before I go shopping... ... ... I find it hard to believe that every butt you have ever extinguished has made it into a trash recepticle. If that is the case you are among a very, VERY, small percentage of smokers.
