Why do most smokers insist on throwing the cigarette butt out of the window?

It is so annoying when a ciggarette butt comes flying back at you from a car ahead.. use the ashtray inside your car, that's what they are for.. or don't smoke in the car (or at all)!

The last thing I want to smell is your cigarrette as it's stench is sucked up into my clean smelling car..

i used to suck on gummi bears and drive when i was in high school, and when i saw someone doin' that i'd take the time to pull the gummi outta my mouth and stick it on their window/windshield (wherever my aim goes)

I used to smoke, I've thrown it out the window before. Usually it would be if I had trash in the ashtray that I thought would catch fire. It is hard to put out the cigarrette fully while driving sometimes. I quit smoking though, and even before that I quit doing it in my car when I got the MSP. I'd try to do it when other cars were not close though.

my buddy always talks about throwing water balloons of piss out his sunroof back at the person who throws a cig butt out in front of him.. of course, he would get in front of them first, then launch his piss balloon.. although the wipers would just clear it up, it would still be funny.. now the gummi bears on the other hand is a good idea too

Yea i try throw them down and under... My ash try is full with fuses and misc car parts. I try to watch for other drivers cause i hate when it happens to me.

i think it's a $100 dollar fine here in Indiana. The rule went into effect because a lit butt flew into the car of a senetor and he wrecked his car or something of that nature.

Had a car pull next to me at a stop light, when they got the arrow someone in the rear flicked a butt just so happened it lands on my windshield and rolled down and sat on the wiper. Pissed me right the **** off. I myself am a smoker and when i toss em i point my hand straight down towards the ground and flick so the impact sends the sparks under the car not behind.

Flicking them strait up out of a miata (with the top down lol) usually sends a butt dead center on the windshield of the car behind. Only works a low speeds though, and they have to be pretty close. Fun for tailgaters.

PS, flicking a left-hander into a closed window is never fun. OMG sparks LOL

Theres so many out here who knows how they all start. Most of them are from lightening and people careless with campfires. Acouple years back a female forest service employee started a fire over a guy. And then another forest service employee started one because he needed work. Thats takes some balls what a fucktard. Sucky thing is they are already starting again.

I've had a few butts come in my window or t-tops or convertable. I've spit gum or just some nice luggies on a couple of the smokers that did that to me.
