Smell
Does anybody have this smell coming up from the hood every once and a while?
I see no leaks and the system as been pressure tested , but I still get the smell once and a while. So I can not be the only one or am I?

If it's anti-freeze mine did that the first week, and so did my friend's P5. We both had small leaks that stopped after a few days. Nothing since and the car has 18000km/7 months.

IT MAY AS WELL BE TIME FOR AN OIL CHANGE.....i notice when u get on your car and have not so new oil in it it caused a rotten like smell...maybe change ya oil

Ok because this is the problem I am having.
Mazda dealer has done a pressure test but, they can not find anything. But the smell is strong. But it is not consistence.

I dont have smells in my car coming from the hood.. Just a fresh lemon scent....haha....

Could it be your clutch getting burned up?

it doesn't matter if its new it's could be buildup in the cat burning off/has a sulfer smell

I have a pressure washer and some engine cleaner.

Washed down the engine ,bay and under the whole car.
So far no more smell smell......:wtf:
