Small dents on car's bonnet

Look up your local "Dent Dr." Don't know if they're everywhere, we have them here in Ohio. They push the dents out from underneath the dent, they do a pretty good job on them, and usually not very expensive.

Planning to visit a local PDR place to see what can be done and what would be the cost.

As I was shopping for the PDR service I am getting quotes from $300-400 for 3/4 dents on the hood. This doesn't make sense to claim that to insurance but I also found that the original part (hood) to cost around $300 online and was thinking what would be the cost to get it replaced. I would expect the hood to be painted first and then replaced which means all manual labor cost on top of the part, any guesstimate here?

Hood color matched and painted + labor swapping hoods and aligning new parts, I would say $300. Also, do not forget you will have to purchase the replacement regulatory emissions and safety decals that are on the underside of the hood.

I would really recommend against swapping a hood for minor dents that can be PDR'ed. Matching the paint, and having it age the same color and sheen as the rest of the car, not to mention installing and aligning the replacement hood. These are all things that a good body shop can bring close to being original, but will never match it perfectly.
