SLS Performance Front Motor Mount

What is ETA on rear mount? Is there going to be a driver's side too?
Havent seen SLS post in a while.

Just ordered both...

All of my original mounts are broken, hope I don't get too much vibration. My car is an auto an the wife will be driving more often... she's been driving my SP23 for the past few months.

The vibration really isn't bad at all at idle, and if your other mounts are broken, it'll reduce the vibrations and drivetrain lash durring shifting you're probably already experiencing. Vibrations are significantly worse at idle if you've got the AC on though.

And thats just on mine, which I installed last week. They haven't broken in yet.

no the vibes are noticable even when the a/c isnt on. when the a/c is on it gets pretty bad when the compressor is going. it's not intolerable but at a light i usually turn the a/c off until i get moving again.

I just ordered the side mount to go with the front I installed last month. I also got gauge rings, couldn't pass them up for only $11.

I drive like a a granny. No mods at all. Less than 200 miles. Go figure.

Anyone up for a nice package deal on the front & side mounts? Just got the replacement bracket for the side mount & probably not going back on the car. After seeing this makes me want to put my stock one with rr inserts back on the front. May see them soon in the FS section. Anyone interested in the pair can PM to get pics & pics will be posted in FS when they get there. Just not up for this kinda iffiness. My stock ones with just the inserts up front have served me well for years now problem free. Neither were even torn or anything when switching to these. I have a daily driver sport auto so I should be having no worries with mounts....& I won't, soon.

They'll probably give you another one but will you be able to trust it? And they'll probably tell you some crap about how the bolts were overtightened or some other nonsense about how you installed it wrong. I bet it won't have anything to do with weld strength either. Interested in this explanation. Keep us posted.

I think it is OBVIOUS it is the weld. Look at the thing. I would NOT take another one of these crappy mounts as a reimbursement.

It's a poor design for a front mount considering the stresses it's subject to.

AWR's is a far better design.
