Slow down on public roads

Who know's it dosnt look like a new bike and I dont ever remember seeing a s/s swing arm on a honda here in the states.

On the hill jumping things from highschool.

There is a hill in northern virginia that everyone, I mean everyone jumps. It easily drops down a good 35-40% from the top to the bottom. So very very steep.
However it is a small road with very large trees on each side.
4 kids in a Volvo wagon decided to jump it, at over 100. Now mind you just doing the speed limit of 35 and you can get a little body lift. Anything over 50 and you get air. Anything over 50...ahhh dangerous.

So they jumped it, but he was turned just enough to the shoulder that the car in mid flight clip a tree and spun clockwise, got about a half turn when the rear caught another tree and spun it counter clockwise. This sudden change in direction ripped the car in half.

The driver woke up after landing to look over and see his friend in the passenger seat, actually part of him in the passenger seat. The other two in the back were flowen out and scattered in the woods.

The driver could never drive again, he was to scared, couldn't shake the picture of what happen.

Roughly six months later he killed himself.

So just remember that when you have other people in the car, could you life with the thought that your actions killed them.......

i know people have said it before but i'm gonna say it again:

if you kill yourself doing something stupid...that's darwin at it's finest.
if you kill someone else doing something stupid....thats f!cked up!

damn that is crazy!!!!!

You know I've always wanted a motorcycle, but I know with my need for speed I have no reason getting one. As far as a car goes, I usually have my daughter in the car and that keeps me pretty under control.

A couple months ago locally there was a motorcycle/truck accident that had kind of the same result. The bike was going between 60-90 ,no one is really sure, and a truck turned left in front of it. Well long story short the sportbike hit the truck, flipped it and the truck slid 40ft. It was a full sized Chevy truck too, not a small one. Needless to say the guy on the bike didnt live.

I'd love to have a sport bike, i think it would be fun as hell. But i have absolutely NO DOUBT that i would kill myself. Gotta stay away from that one. The car is dangerous enough in my hands as it is, lol.

There was a kid in Atlanta about a year and a half ago who was driving home drunk from a party, lost control and slid off the road and smacked either a telephone pole or a fence, I cant remember, but the car was ok so he drove the rest of the way home. The next morning, his parent came outside and found his best friends decapitated body in the passenger seat. Apparently the kid had his head out the window at the time of the accident and it got popped right off. The driver is in his first of 10 years in the state prison right now.

When I was driving through California this summer, we stopped at a restaraunt along Highway 1, the very twisty that runs up the coast at the top of 100 ft tall cliffs, and the owner was telling us about 2 kids who lived in the area who decided to race on the road a couple years ago. Apparently one was passing the other on the inside around one of the turns, lost it, and took the other guy with him over the edge. One of the cars smacked into a big rock outcropping, the other went to the ocean floor. According to the guy we talked to, the car that went into the water was never recovered.
