sliding door - upper trim?

Not sure what to call it, but I noticed a while back that a piece of vertical trim along the top of the sliding door was loose. I was thinking it was weatherstripping, but it's really more like plastic and his held on with small black rivet type fasteners. This weekend, when someone was getting out of the 3rd row, they caught this piece and now it's just holding on by the top fastener.

I'm guessing a person just orders some of these funny little fasteners and it will be easy to fix? Has anyone else had this part come loose?

Thanks

I circled the area on the following photo:

yes. plastic fastener. I lost one in mine. Dealer took one fastener from their masda5 on display and used it in mine. one should be able to order them.

thanks

I'll see if I can explain it over the phone James at Regina Mazda. It seems like a strange part that is just in the right place to break.

Had these break on 2 separate occasions. Dealer replaced at no charge under warranty but had to special order both times. Seems like they need to strengthen the plastic rivets.

The dealer is ordering some more of these rivets. That piece is in a vulnerable spot for people getting in and out of the third row - especially with winter coats etc..

The other problem is that I noticed someone opened the door partially from the inside but then used there arm to push on that piece which would be an issue. From now on, I'll try to make sure people use the handle to completely open the door.
