what do you guys out there think about the skunk2 lowering springs for the mazda 3...the most talked about ssprings on here are of course eibach and tein, but the skunk average price is dramatically lower...does anyone know if that means their quality is lower???? thanks for the help.

Dramatically lower than $200? (boom07)

I'd definitely be questioning the quality.

well to starving college students $25-30 is dramatic, but i have read good things about them, and the drop is nice without being overdone, and the springs are progressive...which i think i would like better

Eibach Pro-Kit is progressive, too.

Be sure you figure tax and/or shipping costs into your estimates.

why yes you are correct, the eibach is progressive as well...hmmm. but the skunk2's drop a little more, but im just questioning the quality because they dont seem as talked about/popular as eibach

Like I said before, if they're much less than $200, then you're correct to question the quality.
$25 isn't a huge difference but if we're talking like $75-$100 less, then I'd be worried.

I had skunk's on my MSP and was pleasantly suprised with them. Rebuilding the car after an accident I had to get a new spring and decided if im going to spend a little money i might as well give them a shot. Never had any clunk issues like wetsuit said, but im only one of many. I know this doesnt say much for your 3 but speaking for the skunks in general my honest opinion is that they were worth it. (keep in mind the MSP also had tokico struts too)
