EDIT: I'm sure we'll get the answer that it is better to save the money and go with a sleeper kit or something but let's see what they say.

u'll need:
turbo
exhaust manifold/turbo manifold
intake piping (both to and from the turbo)
By pass valve
SMIC
exhaust piping
ECU
raditior
mouting hardware
oil and coolant return line
tap your oil pan

that is all i can think of right now. anyone else feel free to add to this

there are tons of threads on this, do a search.

most people seem to buy them up the turbo kit from a scrapped MSP... either locally or on eBay. these usually run at least $1500-2000 without the MSP ECU. Probably the ECU is the hardest thing to locate and depending on the seller's asking price, can be anywhere around $500 and up.

Look closely on the For Sale threads, once in a while, somebody decides their turbo project is taking too much money and then decides to sell it.

Alternatively, you can buy an aftermarket turbo kit like MAM or HiBoost. They are more expensive, but yield alot more power than the MSP kit.

Depending on how well you know your mechanic and ability to negotiate, it can take anywhere from 6-10hrs for a full turbo kit installation without any huge or major snags. usually you can try to negotiate a one time price, instead of hourly. but i have heard install prices as high as $1000.

you will have to figure in other costs too....miscellaneous nuts and bolts, wiring, electronics, etc etc. probably the biggest one if you are serious, will be tuning it. getting some kind of EMS and either tuning it yourself or paying somebody to dyno tune it.

but yeah, do a search. you'll find info easily.
