I know but the same concept just changed could work.
*The change in the theory*
Instead of taking the ground wire from the side, it could be possible to take the power from the side and attach it to the front bults headlight power wire (The front turn signal not the headlight low/high wire.
Now the problem that will arise is how does the front turn signal work. Does it (for sake of conversation lets call the following wires-Front bulb power=FP. Front bulb turn=FT, Front bulb ground=FG)
A.Remove power from FP then add to FT. While blinking it just keeps removing power from FT till you turn it off then power returns to FP.
B.It removes power from FP adds to FT only when it wants to blink.
B is unlikely, so A is most likey the way it does it. Unless there are only two wires up there (FP and FG). If this is the case then it will work.
A simple glance at the wire will solve this, will go take a gander in a few minutes.
Yep three wires 1 for the headlight switch, turn signal, and ground.
