I understand that at startup the motor is going to rev a little. However, I can't understand why every time I cold crank in the morning the motor revs past 2500 RPMs and I get a slight shreak (it not the belt). Why would any company program an ECU to do that!?! That is the worst possible time to rev the motor and it does it everytime at COLD CRANK! Does anyone notice this or am I the only one experiencing this annoyance. I'm seriously thinking about finding a way to toggle the fuel pump on/off so I can build oil pressure before I fire off. This can't be a good thing on a turbo motor!
