2015 Deep Crystal Blue Mica GT FWD
Roll call for all blue cars! Blue is my favorite color, and really would like to see all the Deep Crystal Blue Mica and Stormy Blue CX-5s out there, but also Blue Reflex Mica, Metropolitan Grey mica and Sky Blue Mica's as well.

Well, it's called "metropolitan grey mica" (2013 only), but it certainly looks more like dark blue (with a grey hue), especially in sunlight.. Too bad they discontinued it.

The big pic. Deep Crystal Blue. I saw a Stormy Blue in the lot and it looked like a bunch of three inch scratches every direction, but it was just the paint.

Trick to getting good pic of Crystal Blue is to have almost direct reflection of sun.
Wait till sun is low and have sun to your back when taking pic.

Agreed, it's dual tone paint personality is sometimes hard to capture. Especially on a phone camera. A view without direct light-

Lol, they probably were scratches.."Hand wash" with a dirty, worn car broom, and not enough soap.. yea expected. It's why I pretty much handwash my car myself now, as the "handwash" car washes do just as much, if not worse than the automatic car wash.. There is a large automatic carwash near me. It's very fancy it shines your tires and everything. Early in the que, there is a (dirty) barrel of water and a broom, for hitting really stuck on stuff, and places you know the carwash won't reach. I lol'd every time I saw people basically washing their whole car with it., scrubbing like they are cleaning a dirty tub.

The Blue Reflex Mica reminds me of a blue color that I was going to get on a new 2007 Volvo S40 T5. I ended up buying the G35x in Lakeshore Slate..another blue hue.

I like the Blue Reflex. To me, it's a silver-ish blue. I'm sure it stays cleaner than deep crystal blue. My issue was that I could only get that color with all black leather interior only. And that color combo didn't look as appealing as my dark blue/sand leather.

Love that deep crystal and sand leather (best color combo by far, imo). Wish it was available here in Canada. I settled for Black Mica and sand leather for my 2014.5 (and even now for the '15's they only offer the sand leather option for white exteriors). Canada is getting rooked on CX-5 colors.

Bon

I like that "cookies and cream" combo, too. I don't know why Mazda offers limited interior color and color combos. You'd think they'd stand above the crowd if they offered say, red leather and trim interior. I'd be a sucker for that.

Yea, I saw some bmw with red leather looks good.

...and white exterior.

White is pimp daddy delicious![emoji39] Of course, sand leather isn't white, but it's light enough not to absorb too much heat, yet doesn't show many stains easily. A pretty good compromise. I had a white interior a long time ago, and it showed every dirt stains and smudges, and the creases in the leather got more noticeable.

I think this was the day I brought it home, went with the deep crystal blue with the Sand interior, one of the best combinations IMO.
