Should I get a bra for my 3?

I mean, damn, I've only had her for 6 weeks and she's already got chips on the bumper.

Would it look like crap to buy one or would it be worth it?

I was thinking about getting a clear bra installed but, it'll cost me roughyl $400 to do so. (eekdance)

Clear bras rock (or prevent rocks, whatever). If you have the dough, go clear. It'll make itself back in $$ from not having to repaint or replace your front bumper, plus it doesn't have the issues of a leather bra (dirt getting underneath and scratching the paint, needing to be taken off frequently to be cleaned, etc etc).

LOL I should've gotten the dealer to do it before I signed the papers.

Excellent! $369! Time to start saving up. LOL

Thanks!
Or just get the standard kit for just over one bill...it will protect your hood.

Go braless! (boobs2)

Meh, the hood is no big deal, it's the bumper that's getting killed.

$400 is a bargain. The one I saw was $500 for the bra and another $450 to have it installed. (boom06)

I think not!

man i don't think you should get a bra for your car because my sister had one and where it was after she took it off the paint was all faded and it screwed up the paint job so i wouldn't recomend a bra for your car.

Dayum! (boom02) That's an investment. I didn't think I would get this type of damage down here considering there's no salt rock needed to melt the snow.

I'm from Boston so I'm used to front end damage. (lol2)

Since there seem to be a lot of discussion about paint chipping I checked with a place that the dealer recommended for window tinting. They didn't have the 3m clear bra stuff but they had another clear product that they claimed was better (claimed it didn't yellow as much). For a deluxe package they wanted 695 which sounded way high to me. Sorry I forget exactly what all that included and I don't have any writrten info about it.

Anyone have any long term experience with the 3m stuff or similar products that claim to prevent chips? Is $695 way out of line for front, mirrors, behind door handles?

what're bras for? (boobs2) they only seem to get in the way... :D

I'd say the 3M is the option I'd choose to protect Mazda's cheap ass paint job...

dont get a bra... worst invention ever... you will never keep your car perfect forever.. it build character, chips are battle wounds
