(werd) buy a cheap car thats in good condition and use that $400 a month to pay off the jetta...sell the jetta for whatever you can get for it now...that would be the *smart* thing to do...
Find a cheap daily driver for the GF, and pay off what's left on the Jetta.
In a couple years you'll hopefully be better financially and could afford a car loan.
At 18-19 there is no way I could have paid a car loan and all my bills, so unless you both have ballin' ass jobs right out of High School, or mom and dad to help out, you don't want another loan, trust me.
I bought mine for 13.9 over a year ago .... with only 34k .... I would try to talk them down ... especially because its modded .... use the fuel for fire ...
yeah it shows that the last owner messed with the factory engineering...you cant predict what someone elses changes might do to a car...for all you know it might take a s*** and break the day after you buy it because the last guy ****** up installing something
nope...they arent going to put any money into it if they can just sell it straight off the lot...and the damage is already done(not that there is neccessarily damage to the car) you know someone already messed with it...you might like that though and want the upgraded mods but you can still hold that over their head and use it as a negotiating tool

I'm sure there are MSPs on autotrader and ebaymotors that are located @ dealers. So do some research and you'll see what similar cars go for.
