Short Shifter

if i could get my knob off without having to buy a new knob i'd take a pic without it, picture the shifter going about an inch into the knob

im wanting the bottom of this shiftknob to be even with the consol, so i want the whole thing like 1.5" to 2" shorter than the kart boy. i just want it for looks basically

ur gonna have to shove ur hand down in the console to shift, i see alot of busted knuckles in your future (kinda like me and my friend's gs-t, i hit my fist on his head unit every time i shift into 3rd.

Yeah, it was an easy choice...That's why I picked the Kartboy. Don't over tighten the bolt, and you wont damage it; problem solved. Use the time it would take you to install the heat sheild spacers, and bend the heat shield.
Besides, with the Kartboy, you can get a SS/knob/bushings combo for about $153 total after tax/shipping.

easy there....I sense a bit "taking it personally"...

if the difference where $50 or more...then i could see the need to re-evaluate the features and thought put into the TWM shifter.

like I said initially....everyone has their own opinion.
