i had this antenna for almost two years and the reception sucked......

i just got a new shorty, which is about 2.5 inches longer and reception is great......

With most shorty's you'll loose reception. That's why it's nice to have a 6 CD player or a HU that plays mp3's or Sirius

yeah, but my woman hates my music and got so pissed when i had the first shorty becasue we got like 2 stations. i kept the factory antenna in the trunk for long trips to keep the bitching down......

looks like a plastic piece. Mine's all metal and I think that helps w/reception. It's made by xelderex, a member on this forum. He usually turns out a batch or two a year to help fuel his racing needs. Send him a PM - maybe he still has one laying around. Not bad price (I think 20 shipped) and a great piece.

The plain black one, 2.55 inches is on this site for 5.99 plus 5 shipping. The reception is 3 out of 5, and at that price I'll take it. I dont listen to the radio all that much, and at 10.99 shipped I think it is a great deal. I used paypal beacuse I am not familiar with the site, but if you still want a stubby antenna you should check out that site, they have other type of stubbys as well!!!
