Shiftknob Query

The other day when I was driving, I noticed that a small part of the coating for the black area of my shiftknob was either worn off, torn off, something. Is there any kind of finish or sealer I can use on it to make it look better and make sure that it doesn't happen even more? Of course I use protectant on it whenever I'm doing my inside cleaning. Please help :(

Ditto on that. I have a small wear/rub/whatever on the rear-facing portition of the shift knob. I think it got rubbed in the shop a while back.

Wierd problem...I don't know the answer. I've never had that problem with the stock piece, and now I have the Kartboy shift knob.

for some reason, the oils in your hands wear away at the shift knob. thats why im looking into a momo shift knob, without any leather on it.

*sidenote: You could try to WIN the KARTBOY shift knob and shifter...*

ya mine did the same thing, took it to my dealership. They looked at it and ordered me a new one no questions asked.

HAHAH

YEP JUST GOT BACK TO DEALER TODAY AND SHOWED THEM THE KNOB WITH LEATHER WORN OFF AND SAID THEY WILL ORDER ONE ASAP.
