Shift knob removal....???

does anyone know how the 03.5 MSP shift knob comes off? does it just simply slide off, screw off, is an allen wrench needed............(dunno) (uhm)

every car i have been in turn it counter-clockwise....might have to turn it pretty hard to break it loose the first time.

ya, i dunno, i've wrenched pretty hard on mine a couple times to see if i could get it to come off, and i can't even get it to budge, there isn't something that is going to break? i'm getting the greddy counterweight knob for xmas so its gotta come off sometime ...

The greddy counterweight is nice....i have one and I love it.

counterweight is nice, i have it also, but it is alot smaller then the 3.5 MSP knob. I thought it was gonna be about the size of the SRT4 knob but it's much smaller, still nice though.

I like the greddy better than the SRT4's, lol...but I have small hands so that's probably why.

I'm waking up an old thread for this one. I assume the 03 P5 shift knob simply twists off as well? I've been trying to get mine off but it's putting up a good fight.

Just get the biggest girl you know to sit on it and spin. (counter-clockwise, of course!)
