shaved handle question...

hey...i was wondering all you peeps that have been shaving your handles...how strong of solenoids do we need? i don't want to get something that is going to be too weak and i don't want to go overboard either...
i do live in western ny, and it gets cold...will that make a difference?

There is another guy on here that has the autoloc 11lb kit. I bough the 15 lb kit. I paid $164 for the 15 lb kit for the front 2 doors and also the one-touch control to lower the drivers window. This includes everything you will need. It is a 6 channel kit. www.autoloc4less.com they are great, i have already bought 3 kits from them. The kits come in 11, 15, 35, and 50. The 35 and 50 are to much.

even in the winter? you don't think there would be any problems? the 15 lbs are pretty cheap...i could get them right now...hmmm...i just want to make sure that it isn't going to be able to open them in snow and ice...if so, c'mon shaved handles!

I shaved my door handles and i did the cheap way out of it.. The window kit where my window will roll up and down with the alarm key.. it saved me alot of money..2003 Mazda protege 5
