Sept 16, 2006 - NOPI Nationals - Atlanta Motor Speedway

I think I'm more excited about seeing some of the Mazdas there than anything else...or maybe the little drifter RC cars they had sliding around everywhere lol naa I'm kidding, I was at NOPI last year, didn't show my car, but had a pretty good time overall. I'll be entering my P5 this year but I'll be parked in the North Lot so I can stay near my buddies that I'm traveling with. I'll be around to take pics of the Mazdas so maybe I'll get to meet some of you. (shady)

Don't worry about that. Muff is our designated perma-noob.

So its anyone registered under the Speedforsale.com group club? I dont know if I should register with them and be in the featured lot or the Mazda lot.

How many groups are there total at this thing? Ok never mind, too many too mention. What if you don't register? Where do you park? Can you still park in the north parking?

If you don't register then you park outside... only people that get in are people who register. Best money deal is to pay for the registration fee to show your car, then split that fee with someone because your registration comes with a passenger ticket so basically 2 for 1. That is what I am doing. I plan to be someonwhere by Finn (mp5smuggler) in the Mazda section on pavement.

Ok, so register with speed for sale and park on the pavement section? Or where?

ya basicly its in the middle of the area

i personally think that all cars besides booth/vender cars should be in the same section as the rest of their class. at least for the first day. on sunday if you want to park with your club in the club lot thats ok. if all the civics mazdas neons ect were in the same section on saterday the judging would be much easier and faster. this way if you want to see a certain type of car you know where to go as a spectator as well.
the past 2 years i have gone and spoke with the judges they were driving around the entire infeild looking for cars they were supposed to judge instead of going to one section and knowing that they were all there ready to be judged.

Dude before we go there, I gotta get some of your gys number so I can text you or call you, because I'm bound to get lost somehow, lol :D

ya i agree with you.. but the judges should know where you are parked at since it asks you when you register and its on your entry form and what not..

i parked with the FL guys last year.

they know that the car is somewhere in the club section but its not as easy to find it there as it would be if it was in the mazda section.

So Mazda section it is for at least Saturday. If you all pull up the map you will see it right near the drift arena. I am not registering under any club, no cheaper.
