Sensor attached to right outer grille??help

I have a Mazda 3, 2012 that has a sensor attached to the back of the passenger side outer grille. Can anyone tell me what it is? I am not talking about the impact sensor located at hood latch or the ambient temp located on the driver side of the radiator? This thing just slides into a slot on the back of the plastic grille.
