Selling 2003 MSP. Worth?

I'm thinking about selling my black 2003 MSP with 5700 miles on it. Anybody have any idea what I should ask as a private seller? What the dealer might give me? KBB doesn't have our MSPs listed on their site...

They aren't always accurate. They tend to inflate the price. I don't think you would be able to get what they say. There are other threads about this though. But my first guess would be $13000 depending on mileage.

Its a unique color that is not made any longer and you have extremely low miles. Sell it for what you owe plus a profit. Someone will buy it. I wish my Black Mica MSP only had 5700 miles. A dealer will not give you more than wholesale, which is probably $10-12K. Private seller is the way to go.

From a dealer they will only give you max $15,500. I went to trade mine in at a BMW dealership and the car wasn't on there list so they had to call Mazda and talk to them. Mazda said the max that they would buy it is for $15,500. This was a few months ago when my Black MSP had 12,000 miles. They told me I'm better off selling it private so that's what I'm doing now. I've had a few offers but they all flaked at the end. The car is now bone stock other than lowered and a 03.5 wing/shaved trunk,MP3 wheels with 15,000 miles. I'm selling mine for 17,000 OBO. With your mileage you should have no problem selling it. You should probably put $18,000 OBO. Let me know how it goes bro.
