Scratch on Molding Below Glove Compartment

I just scratched the molding below the glove compartment when I was picking up a food container from the floor. There somehow was this sharp point from the container sticking out of the bag and I heard the scratch happening. There's now a white line - what can I do to remove the white line? I'm also going to ask the dealer when I take it in for servicing in 1,000 miles but I hate scratches (esp. ones that I cause) so any help now would be great!
