'Scraping" noise when turning right

Hi all-
2003 P5, 58,000 kilometers
Just noticed this noise a few days ago. Happens only when turning to the right. Requires only the very slightest pressure on the steering wheel to initiate the noise, but continues over full range of turning radius. The noise does not seem to change pitch with increasing speed. No clunking, just a distinct scraping. Does not make the noise when the car is not in motion, and turning wheel stop to stop.
All CV joint boots are intact. Even with such low mileage, is it common for joints to fail on this car?
Last fall, I did have to replace the high pressure line on the power steering rack. No leaks, P.S. seems to work fine. If the noise was related to the power steering, wouldn't the noise be present when the car was stationary?
Thanks in advance for all replies.
Cheers!

Check your dust shields on your rotors.

Thanks for the quick reply. But the dust shields rotted off years ago. Also, I should have said that I've gone over the front brakes, everything appears to be working fine.

Sounds like a wheel bearing to me. Had to replace one of ours a few months ago.

Yup, it was the passenger side front bearing. Cost was $225, incl. tax. I thought that was very reasonable. If I had done the job myself, bandages and antiseptic would have cost more.
Thanks to all, and Cheers!

mine had a similar issue recently and it had a squeak on right turns that turned to a squeak at low speed no matter steering input. mine was passenger front bearing as well. bearings failing make a wide range of weird noises
