Scott Peterson - Guilty on all counts... 1st Degree for wife, 2nd Degree for child and Yes for Special Circumstances........ GUILTY - GUILTY - GUILTY - GUILTY - GUILTY - GUILTY - GUILTY (upyours)

theyre gonna love him in jail. child killer and wife killer. btw his g/f looks like a two bit *****.

This is the decision by the jury it was announced about 1/2 an hour ago....GUILTY - 1st degree on wife, 2nd degree on child and yes to special circumstances.....

I don't think the jury should sentence him to death.

Why?

Because he will die by the hands of someone in jail I am sure...that or kill himself after he is turned into the biggest prison b**** you can think of.

You can do a lot of things and end up in jail and other inmates leave you alone. But if you kill a kid, your done.

Jury's convict, the judge sentences.

They convicted him on purely circumstancial evidence: no murder weapon, no cause of death. I think he did it...but I think it's funny that he got convicted and OJ didn't. The Criminal Justice system can be so hypocritical at times.

Nope - jury's coming back for the sentencing phase on this one. Judge told them in the courtroom that they have next week off so that the attorneys can get their witnesses arranged, and they'll be back Thanksgiving week. He indicated that they'll be hearing about 4 days of testimony, and then they'll deliberate sentencing.

In this case, the jury decides if it is worth the death penalty.

Some people speculate that they will not give him death because of the first degree on the wife.

The OJ case and this are two seperate issues completely. The OJ case was in question becuase the detective was thought to have been ratially motivated to go after a black man.

Peterson has no such issue. And good circumstanital evidence (which this case had plenty) is more accurate and better than a witness (who can lie)...
