Scheduled Service question

Hey all,

I have been working on my own cars for as long as I can remeber to save the "dealer" costs of taking it in for regular service, like oil changes and stuff... my question is, I am looking at the maintenance schedule and and I was wondering what they do for the lube locks and hinges

I believe the dealer uses white lithium grease on things like hinges and such. Maybe even locks as well.

I use Dupont Teflon Multi-Use spray lube; you can find it at Lowes.
