ScanGaugeII installation but where is ....

I will probably install my ScanGaugeII that I had in my previous to monitor the battery voltage and water temp but yesterday when I was looking for the best location to install it on the dash and how to run the cable tp the OBDII connector but I could not figure out where is located the OBDII connector, usually they are easy to find under the dash near the steering wheel...
Is it hidden behind a plastic panel ??

No, you are good. The ’12 Audio sub-forum for is actually linked to the <’10 Audio.

I would assume the ODB port is located at the same spot, which is under the left front dash. Sitting in the driver seat, do you have a small pocket/bin on the dash towards on the left side of the steering wheel? If yes, look into and UP the slot. I had a tough time finding it at first as well as I thought that bin is enclosed.
