FINALLY! I've been waiting for a comparison test between the MS3 and the WRX. BTW, it's not the STI, but rather the WRX TR.

After reading it, BAH! The two guys state that they would pick the WRX only because of the autocross competition even though the MS3 got it first. This is why I don't really like car magazines' reviews because they are too full of themselves always.

yeah i agree... they turned 1+ sec faster times in the autocross in a stock trim... but the drivers said if they could upgrade the wrx then they would rather take that... why would you have to upgrade a car that already costs more?? you can get a cheaper ms3 and spend the money you saved over a wrx on upgrades...as well as the money you would have to spend on the wrx to make it handle like the 3 you could spend on the 3 to make it out accelerate the wrx in the low end....

either way both are great cars just a strange way to end a very positive review of the ms3

Read this article back in October.

It's a good review, and for what it's worth, all they're saying is that WRX will be more competitive after mods mainly due to its AWD advantage. I like my MS3, but if I wanted a car for full-time auto-x and nothing else, I probably would've gone with the WRX. I wanted a car that does all things well (including grocery shopping), and that's why I love my MS3. No need to bash on auto journalists. *^_^*

Its so funny how everyone equates the ms3 with grocery shopping as if you can't fit groceries in a wrx. Its a 4-door sedan not a sport coupe. I know what you mean though, I love my hatch.

You sure can't fit four wheels & tires & a floor jack & tools in a wrx with the trunk closed and still keep the back seats clean.
