Saw the Vibe

Cruising down the interstate heading home last night I saw my first Vibe on the road. Oddly enough, it didn't look all that bad. If you aren't a mini-van fan, and you need a little more storage space, it looked kinda cool.
As for power and handling, I thought it sits a bit high for handling. Wouldn't be very good. Dunno about power.
Probably gonna get blasted, but I figured I'd drop my opinion. If I wasn't into performance and needed a decent grocery getter, that'd definitely be on the list.

I drove an auto all wheel drive vibe that my parents brought to my house while on a test drive... It looked better than the matrix to me. It didn't handle very well in my opinion, it felt really heavy, and just wasn't very responsive at all. It was slow as hell in a straight line with the base 4cyl. and awd, and my parent's 1996 Dodge Caravan had less body roll. You want a grocery getter??? Get a P5 man...

Nah, my mom said the suspension in my car is too harsh, I imagine the Mazdaspeed would be scary to her... Pfffffft.
I think they have actually decided to go with a new Camry LE V6. I haven't seen it yet, but I think they've been test driving it since yesterday afternoon. They don't really appreciate handling at all, but I think they would enjoy the camry. My dad said the V6 "had a lot of balls". lol. I guess I'll go see if they bought it tonight.

I hate to say it, but i think it does have "balls" and probably more then our car. Of course it is a V6 so it is unfair in a way. I never drove the Camry but my friend has it. I was folowing her home one day on the highway. Now I know that she does not really floor it and I had too, to keep up with her acceleration . Thats when I realized the lack of power in the P5. However on the "twistiies" Im sure we could blow her away.
