There's an oil change place right down the street from me that has one parked outside all the time. One day I stopped by to take a look at it, and found out it was the guy that owned the place. Says it's his daily driver and I must say that it was in pretty good condition.
And on an interesting side note, I have a friend that is obsessed with DeLoreans. He always tells me interesting little side facts, so I'll share.
1. The most rare and most expensive DeLorean was also the slowest one to come out of the factory. Every body panel was plated in 18k gold.
2. John DeLorean was so afraid that someone would try and steal his molds and replicate his cars, he had all the molds and stamping plates bent out of shape and sunk to the ocean floor. To this day, it makes finding replacement parts for the cars very difficult.
3. Roaming somewhere around the world is a very fast 3-Rotor 20B-powered Delorean. It's awesome.
