I'm installing an aftermarket head unit into my 2012 M5 Sport. It did not come with satellite radio anything (the OE stereo has the button but it does nothing). The wiring harness (nor antenna) does not have wiring for a satellite (fakra connector). All of my research shows that this car has only one antenna wiring harness option (66935) and one antenna part number so I'm guessing the satellite functions of this car came with a separate antenna/wire feeding to a box in the dash then to the radio? Since I have to run new wiring anyway (with the Sirius sxv300) and I already have the dash, trim and antenna pulled ... I'm wondering will the connector/harness for Mazda 3 antenna part number BB-66-930 work with my Mazda5 harness? Then I'll run the satellite cable with fakra connector on it's own and I'll have one antenna that does am/fm and satellite.
