Try www.turbohoses.com and please insert some puncutation & capitalization in your posts. It will make it much easier for others to read and comprehend.

I think there are many who have boosted 10 psi or more with the factory pipes. I know I'll take mine to 9 or 10 psi with them very soon.

my bad man i woke up last night at like 1 and I wanted to find out about the hard piping on my car. hahah

but you think that the stock piping can take 10 psi???

The question isn't can the piping take 10 psi, can your motor take it. I hope you have some other bolt-ons to make it easier on your car.

i have an intake and thats about it. i mean 9 or 10 isnt going to be that much on the engine is it?????

(hah)

You over-estimate the durability of the FS-DE without engine management.

soo what yall are saying is that you cant do a damn thing to a mazdaspeed protege without some type of up's......yes??

Some type of up's? What the hell are you talking about? Don't raise the boost without a new intercooler and exhaust. Even then, don't go past 8psi unless you REALLY want to see what the rods look like inside your motor, cause you'll have a nice window in your block to see them. You NEED engine management with forced induction when raising the boost.

oo ight well damn i have only had the car maybe a month and im just looking on doing a few things to it for now maybe spending around 500 to 700 bux.

Do you think you could give me some ideas on what to do 1st?

idonno if u can still get the dsm convert afc but its like 300 bucks... that could help with the boost but i dont have one so i donno how much u can actualy raise the boost with it. u could prolly get 10psi if u dont drive like a dumbass.

He's being a bit over-dramatic about this, but he is right. Although I have friends running 10psi daily on stock pipes and stock ECU.

what ecu upgrade should i get???

i really dont want to spend an ass load on it but if i have to i have too

If reliability is important to you, don't boost 10psi without exhaust, intercooler, management, etc. It can be done, but it is BETTER to do it safely.

dsm still sells them. go to the msp marketplace section and look for the gb for afc's. then pm dsm about getting one.

well im not really worried about boosting it up to 10psi right now i was just thinking something like 8 or9 psi
